Principally on constructive plate margins, from mantle magma welling up through the fracture to form a mid-ocean ridge such as the Mid-Atlantic / Reykjanes Ridges junction whose above-surface expression is Iceland.
Also of course lava flows from coastal volcanoes - those these are often associated with mid-ocean ridges and intra-plate "hot-spots". (The latter concept is, I think, still a matter of debate.)
On contact with water lava will cool rapidly to form rock.
Not the whole ocean of course, it is much too large. However at the point where lava enters the ocean some water will definitely boil off.
A volcanic feature that occurs when water fills a caldera and lava oozes into the water is known as a "lavadome" or "lava lake." When lava enters the water, it can create explosive interactions due to rapid cooling and steam generation, potentially leading to phreatomagmatic eruptions. This process can also result in the formation of unique geological structures, as the lava and water interact. The combination of these elements creates dynamic and often visually striking volcanic landscapes.
in a volcano Pillow lava forms only when lava emerges from a place that is submerged under water.
While water is generally very good at cooling things, two things slow the cooling of lava in water. First there is the Leidenfrost effect. When something extremely hot comes in contact with water a thin insulating layer of water vapor forms in between, slowing the transfer of heat. Second, rock is a very poor conductor of heat. When lava enters water the surface of it will cool rapidly, but the interior will remain hot.
When water meets a lava 'block', the lava is converted into an obsidian block. If water meets 'flowing' lava then the lava is turned into cobblestone.
The opening where water enters
Water enters the submarine by letting water out not into its ballast tanks it enters from the flagura to the magura.
Flat worlds can still be customized, and can have lava pools, grass + flowers, floating mineshafts, etc. You can customize it when you're creating the world (I think you have to choose "flat world" then click "Customize").
This is probably the easiest thing to create in doodle god. Go get your head checked. love obama
Right click a bucket on water and you have a bucked filled with water. Right click a bucket on lava and you have a bucked filled with lava.
lava.ANS2:By definition, lava does not become lava until it pours out onto the surface of the earth. This is akin to how a meteor does not become a meteorite until it enters the atmosphere. Before the lava becomes lava, it is "Magma". Please see the link, below for more details on the interior of the earth.
