Number one is if you are looking at the engine in front of the truck it will be the right front cyl
Bank 1 is the side of the V8 or V6 engine where cylinder #1 is located. On Chevy engines that is on the drivers side.
#1 cylinder would be the first one on the drivers side in front.
If its a 4 cylinder its the very front toward radiator, if its a v6 its the very front cylinder on the drivers side
Number one cylinder for v8 and v6 is always the front cylinder on the head that sticks further out on the front of the engine. The heads are offset on all v6 and v8 engines.
The first spark plug up front on the drivers side head is #1

Cylinder 1 is on the cylinder closet to the front of the car on the driver's side. The order is 1,3,5 on the drivers side and 2,4,6 on the passenger side from front to rear.
