That will be the FRONT ( I confirmed it with the picture in my Chilton repair manual )
#1 is the cylinder closest to the front of the engine (where the belt is). On a V engine that is harder to tell unless you can see both heads at the same time.
It should, depending on which engine is/was in each. If they are both the 2.5 v6, then it should. I'm not sure about if either one is a 4 cylinder.
Bad motor mount, left side one on the transmission. this is a comon issue when that motor mount goes bad.
not positive but as they are both second gen I think it should
2.0L, 2.4L both 4 cylinder and 2.5L V6
There are both six and eight cylinder engines available.
yes. they both use the 420a motor.
on a 2.3l motor all data states it should take .8 hours, it is located on the front of the motor in the thermostat housing that connects the upper radiator hose to the cylinder head of the motor...on the 3.0l and 4.0l both are rated for 1.0 hours and still are both located in the front of the cylinder head behind the housing that connects the upper hose from the radiator to the block...remember the poppet side (side with the spring) goes inside toward the motor and ALWAYS install a new o ring or gasket if it is called for...good luck
Yes
There are two. Both are under the plastic housing on the driver side end of the cylinder head.
Would you like to stop chasing your tail? Given the year of your vehicle you may have an issue elsewhere. The first place to look is the rear brakes.....Are the rear brake wheel cylinders both operating?
Rotors on the front drums on the rear.
