Cavalry Scout Advanced Individual Training (AIT) typically lasts around 16 weeks at Fort Benning, Georgia. During AIT, soldiers receive specialized training in reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition skills.
It's different training. Cavalry scouts are 100 percent in the reconnaissance business--six guys will go out there and stake out an enemy line of march, and report back what they find. Rangers do many different missions.
Cavalry scouts are responsible for reconnaissance and gathering information about enemy forces. They operate in small teams and often conduct surveillance, target acquisition, and intelligence gathering missions. They are trained to operate in a variety of environments and conduct both mounted and dismounted operations.

You get them by attacking valleys. The best way to get Lion medals in evony is by getting it least 15000 cavalry and 100 scouts and then you find a lvl.......Method 1 (works best for me)works over 75% of the timeYou get the 15000 cavalry and 100 scouts and then you find a lvl 10 valley with ONLY archers and attack with 10000 cavalry and 1 scout. You will get them it least 1 when you try it 3 times.Method2 works over 75% of the timeYou get 15000 cavalry and 100 scout and find a lvl 9 valley with ONLY archers and then you attack it with 6000 cavalry and 1 scout. You will get them it least 1 when you try it 3 times.

Infantry is still in existence, because that was our main approach at Iraq. Cavalry exists in the form of cars in place of horses. Navy definitely exists: There's a whole branch in the military for that. There are two types of cavalry still in existence - armoured cavalry, and air cavalry. The infantry element of an air cav unit was replaced by air assault infantry, but attack and scout helicopter formations are still part of air cav.
Most are in 4-7 cav on Camp Hovey but some are put in small scout platoons in other units.
