It would largely depend on the falcon's type. The fastest of all animals alive today, though, the Peregrine Falcon, lives in mountainous areas with many cliffs and perches. As of recently, they have also been surviving plentifully in cities. They do this to save energy as they rise over 2 miles above the ground below and their prey, other birds. That is when they dive at 200 mph, making them the fastest animals alive. There are also falcons which are better at larger, flat areas. It all depends on what type of falcon, in which case if you Google the name of it and add "habitat" onto the end with google.com, then you will most likely find it on the right or at the top. Example: "Peregrine falcon habitat" (then hit enter and read the info! ^-^)
