Who are the major contributors on WikiAnswers?
The major WikiAnswers contributors can be seen through the 'Top Contributors' list. To see the Top Contributors list, simply go to the WikiAnswers home page, scroll to the bottom, and click the 'View Top Contributors' link. There is where you see the top 100 contributors of all time, the top 50 answerers, and top 50 editors on WikiAnswers.

How can a new category which reports 'no questions asked yet' list total questions 100 and have two top organizers?
New categories on WikiAnswers have to be filled up with questions by one or more supervisor before it fills out properly. In addition, the number of questions counted is rounded up to the nearest 100, and in the case of only a few questions, it will report 100. If there are no top organizers or top answerers in a new category, it only takes one contribution to get to the top. However, the longer a category has been around, the more contributions it will take to get to the top.
Who updates the WikiAnswers Top Contributors list?
That list is automated. The site calculates your contributions and adds your name to the list.
Where can you see the list of Top Contributors for a specific category or subcategory on WikiAnswers?
You can find a list of the top contributors for any category or type of edit on the WikiAnswers leaderboards. To get to the leaderboards, click on the trophy icon at the top of this webpage. That will take you to a page where you can view the top contributors for any category this month, or all-time.

On the bottom of the page there will be a link called "Top Contributors" If you click on the button you will be taken to a page where the top most contributors of the website are displayed. This is not the comprehensive list of users of the website but the list of top contributors who help the site function in top shape.

A 'Top Organizer' would be someone on WikiAnswers who has organized the most questions on WikiAnswers. Currently, there is no 'Top Organizer', but there is a 'Top Editor' on the WikiAnswers 'Top Contributors' page.

There isn't a monthly list (or any list at all) of users who signed up for WikiAnswers. A list of users is not kept, for the list would be far too long, as WikiAnswers has millions of users worldwide.
