A desert
A dry area where few plants grow is called a desert.
Desert where only xerophytic plants can survive.
Its called a desert. Examples are the Sahara Desert and the Kalahari Desert.
If the climate is really dry, the crops(fruit, flowers....) they won't grow very juicy and not that delicious. The plants will then be very dry because of the dry climate. If the climate is very moist, the crops will flood and not grow as fast because of the water flooding the plant and making it really wet and not able to grow.
it is very dry becuase of the dry climate in Clevland. Not many plants grow in Clevland because of the lack of nutrients, water, and minerlas.
Majorca's climate affects their vegetation by allowing only specific plants to grow well in that area. For example, this area has very hot and dry summers which make the climate perfect for succulents and cacti.
Arid land is so dry that very few plants can grow on it.
xerophytes
Land with little rain and few plants is called a desert. If the temperatures are not extreme, the land could be a steppe.
