There is no area code 882 in North America (USA, Canada, etc.).

For a while, area code 882 was used as a "replace" code for toll-free 877 numbers, to allow paid calls from countries not included in the toll-free service area selected by the owner of the 877 number. However, that use was discontinued in 2004.

International telephone country code +882 (dialed as 011-882 from North America) is used for "international networks," including regional satellite mobile phones and other uses.

(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, Japan uses 010, Australia uses 0011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)
