If 2.8 (6 cylinder) fuel injected -- no choke

If carb. should be a round black cap that has spring inside (on passenger side of carb.)

To repair the auto choke on a 454 Chevy, first ensure the choke is clean and free from debris. Check the electrical connections and the choke's bi-metallic spring for proper function; it should move freely with temperature changes. If the choke is not closing or opening correctly, you may need to adjust it or replace the choke assembly. Finally, verify that the choke's vacuum or electrical operation is functioning as intended, ensuring that the engine warms up properly.
