The bank 1 number 2 sensor on a 2001 Montana is in the tail pipe just behind the catalytic converter. The number 1 sensor is in front of the converter.

There are two sets of switchbanks located in the front of the vehicle. The switches will vary with the options that are on your vehicle.I don't know which one you refer to as bank 1 but the instrument panel switchbank is located in the instrument panel below the comfort controls. The overhead console switchbank is located in the overhead console.
