Pull off the Center panel with care starting at the bottom corners. Pull the radio out. Directly behind where the radio was you will see a plastic funnel which feeds hot to your windshield defroster. the door is at the lower point of the funnel just below the gray foam strips. If you stick a couple fingers above the foam tape and press down you will feel the area / or the Blend door itself at you fingertips. Be careful, there is a spinning fan in there somewhere.
My problem is I cannot get this door to open with the door control selected for defroster only.
