It is behind the glove box. In the 2007 SX4, you simply squeeze the sides of the open glove box at the top back of the box to release the holds and have the box drop down. The filter is staring right at you with four plastic clips, two on the top and two on the bottom. Squeeze the tops and bottoms together and remove the filter. Insert the new one paying attention to the top arrow and snap it in. Squeeze the sides of the glove box to reinstall it. Took less than 10 minutes.
