Check your brake (stop) light fuse
check for the fuse in the fuse box located in the engine compartement
If the air filter has recently been replaced check for a loose hose coming off of the air filter housing. secure the hose and pull the EFI fuse for 30 seconds. This is very common.
The batteris in both the remotes could have 'died' simyltaneously - or - check the fuse for the remote entry lock/unlock system to see if the fuse has blown.
If your check engine light is on - get the engine checked by a qualified mechanic - don't try turning the light off - it is telling you there is a fault in your engine.
If you no longer have the owner's manual - there is a diagram molded into the inside of the fuse box cover.
The fuse for BOTH brake lights is the same. If one light operates and the other one doesn't it is probably not the fuse. Check the bulb for need of replacement or perhaps the wire leading to the socket (or the socket itself) is bad.
The 2002 Mercedes-Benz E320 fuse box is located in the engine compartment. The fuse box will be on the drivers side of the engine compartment.
Check the headlight fuses located in the main fuse box. On a 2002 Nissan Altima the main fuse box is found inside the engine compartment.
The easiest way to reset the 2001 Toyota check engine light is to remove the check engine light fuse. The fuse can be found in the fuse box.
Check the fuse box (the one under the hood I think) for a fuse marked DRL and pull it. If not in that fuse box, check the fuse panel on the left side under the dashboard.
Under the hood, remove the fuse panel box. Remove the B fuse for 5 minutes and put it back in.
