locations on the 3.0 liter , V6 engine in a Lincoln LS are numbered :
firewall
3 - 6
2 - 5
1 - 4
front of vehicle

So , I assume it would be :
firewall
c - f
b - e
a - d
front of vehicle
( that would make sense to me )

On a 2005 Lincoln LS , 3.0 litre V6 engine : ( there are 6 separate ignition coils with the Coil On Plug ignition system )

On a Lincoln LS , V6 : firewall 3 - 6 2 - 5 1 - 4 front of vehicle
On a 2005 Lincoln LS : Both size of engines have the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system The 3.0 liter V6 engine has ( 6 coils ) The 3.9 liter V8 engine has ( 8 coils )
Bad ignition coil? Common problem each cylinder has it own coil located at the top of the spark plug
( 5W-20 ) according to the 2005 Lincoln LS Owner Guide
The transmission fluid dipstick on a 2005 Lincoln LS V6 is located on the left side of the engine. It connects directly to the transmission through a long filler tube.
According to the 2005 Lincoln LS Owner Guide : The 5R55S automatic transmission does not have a dipstick
