I'm not a mechanic / technician but on your Ford Expedition 5.4 L V8 the
engine cylinder locations are numbered :
firewall
4 - 8
3 - 7
2 - 6
1 - 5
front of vehicle > driver
So I ASSUME the 8 ignition coils would be :
firewall
d - h
c - g
b - f
a - e
front of vehicle
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I know the engine cylinder locations are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Ford Expedition So I ASSUME it would be : firewall D - H C - G B - F A - E front of Ford Expedition
The engine cylinder locations are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Ford Expedition ================================================= so I assume it is : firewall D - H C - G B - F A - E front of Ford Expedition
I know that the engine cylinders are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Ford Expedition I'm not a mechanic / technician but I assume it would be : firewall D - H C - G B - F A - E front of Ford Expedition ( with Coil On Plug ignition system )
The engine cylinder locations are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Ford Expedition so I would ASSUME it's firewall D - H C - G B - F A - E front of Ford Expedition
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I know the engine cylinder locations are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of Ford Expedition so I assume it would be : firewall d - h c - g b - f a - e front of Ford Expedition
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I know on the 2001 Ford Expedition the engine cylinder locations for the 4.6 and 5.4 are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of vehicle So I ASSUME it would be : firewall D - H C - G B - F A - E front
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I know on the 2005 Ford Expedition 5.4 the engine cylinder locations are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of vehicle ----------------------------------------- So I ASSUME it would be : firewall d - h c - g b - f a - e front of vehicle ( at least that makes sense to me )
OK for 4.6 and 5.4 cylinder are located from front to back starting on the passenger side 1-4, and 5-8 driver side. Now assign a letter, starting with A-H in the same order. this is how you know which coil B is. Cylinder 2 second front to back on passenger side
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I know on a Ford Expedition the engine cylinder location numbers are : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of vehicle So I ASSUME it would be : firewall D - H C - G B - F A - E front of vehicle ( that would make sense to me )

Bring your Expedition to a stop , with your foot on the brake pedal shift your transmission to NEUTRAL , then turn your selector dial to whichever setting you wish ( 2H / A4WD / 4 H) and then put your transmission in gear
0.7854*r*r*h where r- radius of coil h is height of coil for 3" coil volume is 0.7854*1.5*1.5*2.54*2.54*1.7/10000=2lts
