comsats is in Pakistan with its main campus in Capital of Pakistan (Islamabad), and other camuses in Lahore, Abbotabad, Wah, Attock and Sahiwal .. it also is planning its campuses in Karachi, Quetta etc
and may be some campus outside Pakistan is also in pipeline but i donot know much about it
COMSATS is better than University of Lahore, because COMSATS is a government university whereas the other one is the private one. besides, the fee structure of university of lahore is very high as compared to COMSATS. the last thing is that the studies of COMSATS is better than university of lahore.
i think comsats is best because cust have good faculty.

Mechanical engineering in comsats sahiwal is not accridated by pec but dully recognized. in other campuses all the engineering department are recognized from pec.
