The solenoid is located on the driver's side of the truck just behind the EGR valve. It is held in place by two 8MM screws. There are two small rubber hoses on the bottom that must be removed and there is an electrical connection that must be unplugged. Screw in the two screws to mount the new one, replug in the electrical connection and reinstall the two rubber hoses near the bottom. I replaced mine this morning in about 10 minutes. You can purchase a new solenoid at NAPA for about $31. Good luck.
