The expansion valve is located next to the evaporator coil in the rear passenger side, just behind the fender well. you will notice the air intake or (return air) grill has slots and this is present just as you open the back door or gate 1st thing on the right.

Most likely the rear expansion tube or valve is defective.
In the rear of the vehicle attached to the rear evaporator, you will need to remove the complete assembly to replace the expansion valve......
where is the pcv valve located on a 2001 chevy suburban It is stuck in a rubber hose and pushed into the top rear drivers side valve cover.
if equipped it is on the driver side valve cover in the rear pointing straight up
Possible blockage in the rear air units expansion valve. I just replaced mine for the same reason.
It screws in from the rear. TAke the light assy off.

The EGR valve is bolted to the rear cylinder head at the transaxle end
Try replacing your rear themostatic expansion valve. If it is plugged, refrigerant won't flow to the rear evaporator.
The amount of Freon that goes into a 1995 Chevy Suburban depends on whether or not their is just front AC or front and rear AC. If the Chevy Suburban on front AC only it takes 3.0 pounds of r134a Freon. If there is front and rear AC then it takes4.25 pounds of r134a Freon.
