The fuel filter is under the right side of the vehicle close to the transmission crossmember. There normally is a shield that covers the filter so that will have to be removed. You will see the filter under this, remove the 3 lines and be careful not to break the retaining clips for the lines, but if you do they make a repair kit for them.
you will want to pull the fuse for your fuel pump and then start your vehicle until it stalls out. I always remove the gas cap also to relieve any pressure. The proceed changing the filter.
