The ( # 9 mini fuse is a 20 amp fuse for the fuel pump relay and RAP module )

The fuel pump fuse for a 1998 Mercury Mystique is located in the main fuse panel near the hood release. It prevents the fuel circuit from being overloading and damaging the pump.

no- 1998-2000 Chevy Venture vans only have a relay for the fuel pump and no fuse.
