You can get to the fuel pump by pulling up the seat cushion on the rear seat. There is access to the fuel pump there. You simply twist off the locking mechanism, pull out the old pump, and drop in a new one. It took me about 10 minutes to do mine.

The electric fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. You gain access by removing the rear bottom seat cushion. Lift up on each front corner of the cushion to release the clips. You'll see a wire harness leading to a round rubber seal. Pop the seal off to expose the pump. The pump can be removed WITHOUT dropping the fuel tank. I just did it on my car.
