What if your auxiliary point is not working for a ford escape 2005? Check fuse F12 in the engine compartment fuse box, next to the battery.
In your front power distribution box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine compartment , mini fuse ( # 8 ) is a 20 amp fuse for the power point
no
On a 2002 Ford Explorer : Check the center console , in front of the armrest ( for the 12 volt auxiliary power point )
The 12 volt power point is just to the right of the radio in a 2002 Ford Ranger ( if that's what you are asking ? )
You said, F14 in the engine compartment fuse box - also referred to as "PWR 1" isn't that nice of Ford not to make it clear in the manual? Thanks for the answer, however, It got me close, but actually on my 2005 Escape it is fuse F12. In my manual, it labels to the console device in the picture as the "auxiliary power source". Makes sense. In the fuse block diagram (in this same manual), they label fuse F12 "power point". I thought that was a Microsoft product. ;-) Those wacky Ford folks... Anyway, I could see the fuse was blown when I removed it, so problem solved.
I was looking at the Owner Guide for the 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac and it shows : In the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine compartment : Cartridge fuses # 4 , 20 amp , power point and # 15 , 20 amp REAR power point
According to the 2005 Ford Focus Owner Guide : ( # 47 is a 20 amp fuse for the cigarette lighter and Power Point )
According to the 2000 Ford Crown Victoria Owner Guide : ( # 16 is a 20 amp fuse for the cigarette lighter and auxiliary power point ) * under the drivers side of the dash
On a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria : In the fuse panel below and to the left of the steering wheel , by the brake pedal ( it has a cover on it ) (fuse # 16 is a 20 amp fuse for the cigarette lighter and auxiliary power point )
In the power distribution box , in your 2005 Explorer engine compartment, there are 20 amp cartridge fuses in location # 7 (for power point # 2 ) and in location # 9 ( for power point # 1 ) DISCONNECT YOUR NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE - THE PD BOX IS LIVE !
On a 2000 Ford Taurus : In the fuse panel below and to the left of the steering wheel , by the brake pedal ( it has a cover on it ) ( # 13 is a yellow color 20 amp fuse for the cigarette lighter and auxiliary power point )
