∙ 12y agoYou can place a Buddha any where, however it is seen as disrespectful to place a Buddha on the floor, and to point the soles of your feet to the Buddha therefore not in front of your bed.
I place Buddha on the shelf with praying tools.

∙ 12y agoAny Buddha statute should be placed in an lofty spot, such as a mantle, desk or book shelf. It should not be surrounded by clutter or frivolous items. It should be a place of respect and honor.
Never place a Buddha statue in a bathroom, bedroom, or Kitchen for hopefully obvious reasons. Not on the TV either.
Rules for outdoors include having the statue face outwards from the door or facing the lawn and gardens.

Statues of the Buddha should only be placed in spiritual places.
