At certain times, yes, you can meet a shaman on Animal Jam. They are similar to guides and actually talk and chat with you. There haven't been any sightings for quite some time. I met Graham the monkey shaman in the Lost Temple of Zios quite a while ago. I found him when AJHQ sent a message saying "Played a game of Trivia lately?" which led me to going there and waiting around for a while. Shamans are not a common sighting, but it is possible. If you get a message/alert from AJHQ hinting about a certain land or game I suggest visiting that area right away, a shaman may appear. That happened to me with Graham the Monkey shaman in the Temple of Zios, it was fun meeting him.
