I am an owner of a 2005 Canyon which has identical engines, and have surmised that these engines use a combination type of IAC and MAF that is identified as the MAF sensor on the air duct in line with the throttle body. I have had some misfire codes that I have been trying to clarify and this sensor controls idling speed in part by measuring incoming air to the engine.
Unplug the wiring harness from the iac. Using a adjustable or a 1 1/4" wrench remove the iac.
if you mean iac motor, it is located on the upper intake at the throttle body. if you mean iac motor, it is located on the upper intake at the throttle body.
The IAC is located on the passenger side of the throttle body toward the rear. It screws into the housing using a 1" wrench.
There isn't a separate IAC motor. The electriconic throttle body assembly has a built in motor that opens and closes the throttle plate. The throttle body is not repairable, it must be replaced.
it is a small electric motor on the side of the throttle body
probably got a bad IAC motor
where is the iac motor located in a 1997 ford f-150 pick-up (6 cylinder, standard). Also, what steps are taken in order to take out the old one and replace with a new one.
this is old but its right behind the intake manifold.
YOUR IAC ON A 95 S10 BLAZER 4.3L TBI VIN "W" WILL BE LOCATED ON YOUR RIGHT SIDE OF THE PLENUM. IT IS THE SENSOR THAT KINDA SITS UP HIGH. YOU'LL KNOW YOU GOT THE RIGHT ONE ONCE IT'S OFF. THE SENSOR LOOKS LIKE A CONE SHAPED SPRING. 2 TORQUE BOLTS AND IT'S REMOVED.
IAC sits on the top of the motor.
The idle air control motor is the four wire part bolted to the throttle body.
The IAC is located on the throttle body.
