Two of the most common causes are throttle position sensor and idle control valve problems.
your airflow is uneven check the airflow sensor wire/ sensor
I had those symptoms and finally had the dealer look at it. the problem was with my cooling system and temp sensor. the car was running hotter than the temp sensor was indicating and the cooling system was not working properly.
Replace engine mounted temperature sensor and IAC valve(or clean throttle body and IAC according to an automotive manual). Before trying both of these, replace PCV valve to correct any vacuum problems.
no, the MAF sensor is between the air filter and throttle body. the idle controll is at the throttle body.
My 2000 V6 Sonata shakes while at idle also. I discovered I need an oxegen sensor and more importantly an "Idle Air Control Valve". 239.00 is the average and hard to find. .
Sounds like the Throttle Position Sensor.
Replace the engine coolant temperature sensor. Your car has two, replace the one with the 2 wire connector
Yes. IT can make the engine run to rich, and then cause misfires
Idle air control valve sensor is located around the carburetor .
There is no idle sensor. Idle speed is computer controlled and is not adjustable.
