Where all the wires plug into. That is the ignition coil.
The ignition coil is inside the distributor behind the cap. Remove the distributor cap screws, remove the cap and you will see the coil.

Believe it or not it is located under the distributor cap. If you look at the cap there is a post running alonside it to the center of the cap where the coil wire usually goes.

it's located behind the distributor. it's bolted to the engine block. the middle lead on top of the dizzy goes to the coil pack.
Each cylinder has it's own separate ignition coil. The 1.8 T has four cylinders, so there are four ignition coils.
