Is is located inside the door on the lock mechanism. When you close the door the mechanism acutuates the switch. If you are having the same problem I did, where the door ajar warning is on and the interior dome light is on, you can disconnect the switch. That door will not actuate the interior light any more, but you can always turn it on, on the dash. To remove the door panel pop off plastic bezel behind door handle and remove screw. Pop off electric window switch cover and remove any screws. Also is one screw at bottom of door panel. Then the door panel push retainers can be popped off by sliding a large flat screwdriver or other flat bar behind the door panel and leveraging the retainers out. The door panel then slides up off the top of the window ledge and off.
