The park release lever is right above the parking brake. I need to push in on my parking brake a little and then pull on the release for it to release it.
Depends on what is wrong with them. Being that old I would suspect the brake cables are frozen. You will have to take the rear brakes apart and see what went wrong before you can fix anything.
Front of carb. Be careful taking it out as fittings are easy to strip the threads
87 Unleaded. But use 89 once in a while to keep the engine clean.
If the vehicle has been sitting for a long period of time with the hand parking brake set, a contact bond has occurred. This happened to me with a 87 Mercedes. I put the car in neutral and with a tow rope, gently rocked the car with a garden tractor till i broke the bond. Be careful, this method can be dangerous! Spray everything with liquid wrench first!
Yes they can. I have an 87 Cadillac Brougham with 22 inch Azura's on them and they fit good. No modification but on a full u turn there is very slight rubbing with the front tires.
An 87 Celebrity has several brake lines. They start at the master cylinder, and run under the car to all four wheels.

The fuel pump is mounted on the side of the engine block near the front. Follow the fuel line from the carburetor and you will find it.
My friend has an 87 honda. If the brake fluid reservior on the 87 is not completely full the level indicator will energize the brake light. Maybe yours is a similar problem. dg_8
Double check your rear brakes. Sometimes your self adjusting screw (star-wheel adjuster) is seized, or your wheel cylinder won't retract, or your parking brake cable is seized in the activated position.
The brake light fuse on a 1987 Thunderbird is located on the back of the headlight switch. It is not in the fuse box.
