The bank 1 sensor 2 O2 sensor on that vehicle should be the sensor after the catalytic converter. Inspect the wiring for damage, cuts and such, if the wiring looks okay it is probably the heater circuit within the sensor, replace the sensor. Unplug the wire harness from the sensor and cut the wires off at the sensor. This will allow you to slip a 7/8" box wrench over the sensor to remove it. Install the new sensor using a 7/8" open end wrench, tighten it as you would a spark plug. Reconnect the wire harness.
Trouble code P0135 means:O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
Heated oxygen sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1, sensor 1): Open or short in heated oxygen sensor heater circuit Heated oxygen sensor heater malfunction (Haynes Repair Manual)
O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction, Bank 1 Sensor 1.
The oxygen sensor is "done". It should be replaced.
Answerp0137 or p0147 if it's the heater circuit.
Trouble code P1135 means: Air-Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit Response Malfunction
Could be, Stuck open thermostat, Low on coolant, Plugged heater core, Temperature blend door actuator malfunction.
Bank 2, sensor 1, O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction.
Trouble code P1155 means: A/F Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
Trouble code P1133 means: Air-Fuel Sensor Circuit Response Malfunction Trouble code P1135 means: Air-Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit Response Malfunction
Newer oxygen sensors are heated for accuracy. If the heater element goes bad the oxygen sensor doesn't work and needs to be replaced. If you have an oxygen sensor heater malfunction, it just means that the oxygen sensor has failed.
