There are 2 kick panels :
They are the interior trim panels in front of the front doors
beside the drivers and passengers feet
passenger side kick panel. Behind it. it is a white inertia switch.
passenger side kick panel down by your feet. It is an inertia switch.
my 1996 Ford E-350 cutway has the reset switch located behind the kick panel ahead of the passenger side door.
Try looking behind the passenger side kick panel. That is where it is on my 94.
the right kick panel is in front of the passenger door , the left kick panel is in front of the drivers door
In order to locate the ECU on the 1987 Ford F150, you will need to first remove the ECM. Once the ECM is removed, the ECU lies right behind the left side kick panel.

Look either in the trunk left side behind panel or behind the kick panels in the passenger compartment
