underneath the little plastic cap thing its like black or red but on mine its right in the middle of the defog vent
It may be the temperature sensor for the automatic setting on your A/C. It monitors day light, to turn the headlights on and off automatically.
a sunjight sensor for the medium light
The sunlight sensor is on driver side top of dash by corner of windshield.
remove the black plug from sensor on top of the filter with ignition in the off position, start the engine, replace the plug and the light will be off. I tried this but the light is still on!
It should be on top of your dash. I believe its the little black half-circle looking thing that flashes red when your vehicle ignition is off.
In the radiator there is a sensor about 1/3rd of the way down from the top with 1 wire connected to it. When the sensor goes bad the low coolant light stays on. On our GM products replacing the sensor in the radiator turns the light off. The wire from the sensor to the dash light could have a bare spot in it and be touching metal witch would turn it on but I have never seen that yet. It would pay to check this also.
17 or replace abs sensor, on top of rear axle
The alarm
Top off the brake fluid resorvoir.
I have a 99 300m which is basically the same. If you are talking about the photo sensor for the auto headlights, it should be top of the dash between defrost vents.
You have something over the sensor on top of the dash that is blocking the thing from working?
You might have automatic lights. The sensor is on top of the dash on the left side. If you have that there is a switch to turn it off.
