the fuel press regulator is a non adjustable component in the front of the throttle body. it will normally not fail in less than 200,000 miles. If it is suspect in a no start condition, I would examine a consistent fuel press with a pressure tester setup. If you turn the key on and hear the pump in the tank buzz up, then you know the pump works. fuel press is initially quite high (25-40psi). A fuel filter failure will normally not cause a no-start. pressure will leak by and allow it to start. It just won't run well under hi load conditions. A no start condition is very likely a fuel injector failure. I've had 2 fuel injector failures. took me a week of trial and error to finalize the diagnosis. the first replacement was from a junkyard and it lasted 7 months. The sympton was that it allowed me to start and run but would quit during use and strand me on the side of road. Later (couple hours) it would start and might run for days or minutes but again would fail while driving. Intermittent problems are toughest to solve. Each time I replaced something it would start right up and I'm like "great, problem solved". Then 2 days later, bam, I'm stranded again.
The 1997 Cadillac Deville fuel pressure regulator can be found on top of the engine. The fuel pressure regulator will be near the fuel injector pump.
it is located on the fuel rail .
the FPR(fuel pressure regulator) is part of the fuel filter assembly. Which will cost you about $60-$80
Assuming this is a 4.3L engine, the fuel pressure regulator is located under the upper intake manifold. The upper intake manifold must be removed to gain access to the regulator.
they are located on the fuel rail under the plenum. within the intake manifold
It is located on the fuel rail under the hood on the intake manifold.
Where is fuel presure regualtor located on 1997 dodge intrepid 3.5 engine ?
On the fuel pump module, in the tank.
Location of the fuel pressure regulator on a 1997 Dodge Stratus
Assuming you have the 4.3L engine it would be located under the upper intake manifold. After removing the upper intake manifold you will see the fuel pressure regulator attached to the bank of injector "poppets".
yes
Fuel pump is located inside the gas tank. Fuel filter is located somewhere between the tank and the engine.Answerwhere is the fuel fillter on a 2002 Nissan altima? The fuel pressure regulator on the 97 is located close to the fuel rail. Can't remember exact location, but if you are standing in front of the car looking at the engine, the pressure regulator is on the left hand side of the fuel rail.
