The auxiliary fan fuse can be found in the fuse box. The auxiliary fan fuse location is dependent upon the year of the vehicle. Fuse locations are usually listed on the inside cover of the fuse box.
my best guess would be in your fuse box under the engine, not in the one in car, the switches are bigger.
The fuse box on a 2005 Audi A4 is located under the dash, near the hood release. It contains fuses for the horn, wipers, and radio.

If I read correctly from my A4 (model 2002) handbook, it is number 36. 30 Amp fuse needed.
Far left side of the dash.
What year? Try above the fuse box.
Open the driver side door. Remove panel on left side of dash. Fuse box is behind panel. 1998 A4 Audi Cabriolet The fuse box is located directly in front of the Steering wheel in the engine compartment. Open the hood. If you are standing in front of the car it would be to your right side at the very back of engine compartment under the windshield whipers. There is a channel under windshield whipers and a black box that is on the far right side. It is easy to miss.
Inside of the fuse box cover. Left side of dashboard.
