The story of Melinda is very interesting. Legend says that there was once a witch named Melinda in the 1800's who bothered the townspeople of Reistertown, Maryland. She was captured and prepared to be hung by an angry mob and before her death she put a curse on Reisterstown. This curse said that if anybody visited her grave, her two halves would crawl closer to each other until they rejoin and are again made one. The people were scared enough to cut her body in two halves and separate them in different graves. The upper half is in "Upper Melinda's Grave"... Get it?
However, as for "Lower Melinda's Grave" it has never been found.
