Former NAS Miramar is now Marine Corp Air Station Miramar, since 1996. The Navy's Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) moved to NAS Fallon, NV, in 1996, and the Navy transferred it to the Marines at that time. Miramar is a neighborhood suburb of San Diego, CA.
