Colombia is no longer an unsafe country, it has come a long way. Very safe in most parts of the major cities like Bogota and Medellin. Bolivia on the other hand has become very unsafe especially La Paz and Santa Cruz where express kidnappings, car jackings and homicides are at its peak.
