Tissues can be found basically anywhere in the body where there are also organs. For example, intestinal tissue is found in the intestines and nerve tissue is found in the brain, bone tissue is found in the bone.

The connective tissue that wraps around nerve cells is there to keep them apart. It also functions to join them all together into what we call a nerve, which is really a bunch of nerve cells together.
Bone is quite different from nerve tissue. It is not an excitable tissue.
