The neutral safety switch on the 99 dodge neon is located on left, front side of the transmission, as viewed from the drivers seat. It is under the battery box, requires about a 15/16's socket to remove. it is accessible from underneath, and it has three prongs all in a row. This switch is easy to test for continuity, and I am told it is possible for a bad neutral safety swith to cause a "no spark" situation. But I have not confirmed that, I just heard that. good luck. located up at the top of the clutch pulll the switch strait out toward you comes out straight i just did it then you will see how to put it back in. there is a little slit a bottom of switch slide wires through push switch back in.
jump the terminal on the switch and try starting the car. car should start
