I have a Acura Integra LS 1995 with an Acura Stereo, I have the Code but I can Not reset it , what are the steps to reset it? please help me ...
The OBDII plug (male) in a 1999 Acura TL is located under the radio near the seat heater switches. It is behind a small plastic cover that you remove by reaching over the top and giving a gentle pull.
The OBDII system is used in 1995 and later model vehicles. An OBDII scanner must be used to retrieve the trouble codes.
Before 1995 = OBDI, 1995 and later = OBDII
No, 1995 was OBD I. The diagnostc connecter is under the hood.
You must remove the ashtray that is in the center console, just forward of the gear shift/selector. The OBDII port is usually behind the ashtray in this area on Acuras.
in the 1997 Acura CL 2.2L MFI VTEC SOHC 4cyl the OBD socket is behind the ashtray.
VSS=vehicle speed sensor. That acronym is the same for all OBDII compliant vehicles
Acura actually doesnt have an OBDII connector. Acura uses a silver box underneath the carpet where the passengers feet would be. Remove the carpet or pull it back some to reveal it and it will flash your code. I.E. flash pause flash flash flash flash means it has stored error code 1 and 4
Look up underneath the dash near the steering wheel - you should see a white-coloured socket with multiple holes in it. This is the OBDII connector.
