What are some of worlds most famous places for skiing?

Germany's Berchtesgadener Land, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberjoch-Hindelang, Oberstdorf and Reit im Winkl are some of the mountains and resorts for skiing. In France there are les gets, la cluases are some resorts I have been skiing many times in these resorts from which they are very hard to master, the slopes are quit steep and sometimes very dangerous! I recommend Garmisch-Partenkirchen for beginners, or les gets in france! Some of these ski resorts are very easy to file a complaint so I have not listed them, these that I have listed are world class resorts Thank you have a great day!

Ski jumping is a very beautiful sport. It has elegance and strengh in it.There are few tournaments that are held every year. The most popular and prestige is 4 Hills Tournaments. It is held on 4 hills in Germany and Austria. The places where are competitons held are: Oberstdorf and Garmisch Parten Kirchen in Germany and in Innsbruck ans Bischofshofen in Austria. The award is money and a car. 4 Hills Tournament in 2007 was won by Norvegian Anders Jacobsen in his World Cup debut. Those hills are in Lahti and Kuopio (Finnland) and in Lillehamer and Oslo (Norway). The final result was similar as by 4 Hills Tournament; Jacobsen was first and Schlierenzauer ended up in runner up position once more. The award for winner is 25.000 euros and meeting with norvegian royal famoly. However, the 2006/2007 season was won by Adam Malysz from Poland. Jacobsen ended 2nd and Schlierenzauer 3rd.

Germany is replete with famous medieval buildings and there are many beautiful variations of elevation in the country. One of the most famous and fascinating land structures in Germany is the Nördlingen Ries meteorite crater. A huge crater crashed into earth in the north of Bavaria about 16 million years ago and created a crater about 25 km or 15 miles wide. There is information about the Ries Crater Museum at:http://www.noerdlingen.de/ISY/index.php?get=285For information, a nice photo of the crater, and a driving map to see the crater, visit:http:/www.thespeedyturtle.com/germany/roman-ruins-germany.shtmlAt that website, click on the Nördlingen tab for more information. Also, type "Nördlingen" and "meteorite" in Google images to see cool aerial photos of the Nördlingen area and the bowl-shaped crater it sits in.The Speedy Turtle, an eccentric travel site, also has information about another great natural land structure in Germany - the Breitachklamm (Breitach Gorge) - a spectacular narrow flume that extends more than 1.5 miles (2.5 km) and is over 500 feet (150 m) deep. The gorge, about 10,000 years old, is one of the most impressive of its size in all of Europe. For more information, including instructions on how to access official links, go to:http:/www.thespeedyturtle.com/germany/oberstdorf-germany.shtmlAlso, type "breitachklamm" into Google images and you will find many great photographs of the flume of the Breitachklamm gorge.
