Under the hood, in front. On the right side when looking at the engine. It's in the silver (grey) metal cylindrical canister with the plastic hex head top (cover). The paper filter is under the cap.

OK, you do have an owner's manual do you not? Open it and I am sure the location of the cartridge filter is listed in the manual. It does not have a screw on filter and the filter is located under the hood, under a plastic cover.
