Just a guess here, but are you referring to the oil pressure sending unit?
If so, on the 2.2 OHV engines, it's located on the front left side
of the engine block near the oil filter.
On the 2.2 OHC engines, it's located on the front side
of the engine block right below the oil filter housing.
On the 2.3 and 2.4 OHC engines, it's located at the left end
and on the backside, of the intake cam box.
