in Church

It was not found in church that is where it can be found in our days but the actually bible was found many years ago and I'm not sure where it was particularly found.

The Bible wasn't found as a book, like we know it now. It is a collection of books, letters and writings that were found at different times, in different locations. Not all writings are included in the Bible, Churches decided what will be included and what will not be included. So the Bible wasn't really found in any particular one location.

The Bible was written over a period of hundreds of years, by various authors, many of whom are anonymous. And almost every book in the Bible has been added to and altered. Only one book of the Bible is said to have been 'found', believed to have been Deuteronomy.

Some scholars say that Deuteronomy was secreted in the Temple around 622 BCE, in order for it to be 'found', thus lending the appearance of antiquity to the book.

The fact that the Book of Deuteronomy clearly has the same style as the books of the Deuteronomic history, written around the time of Josiah, and used the same relatively modern Hebrew, is seen as evidence of this.

The Bible was just a collection of letters, prophecies and historical accounts written over various lengths of time so there is no original Bible.

Some of the original copies of the books of the bible have been found in places like the settlement of Qumran. It is 1 km inland from the northwest shore of the Dead Sea. This is where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.

Some modern scholars now believe the books of the Bible were completed in the 1st Century AD and therefore, probably used by the main Church of God at Jerusalem and others as a collection of writings, not yet formalized.
