Look to the front driver's side area of the engine. There's a plastic cover next to the battery, and the PCM is underneath that.
The powertrain control module on 1991 and 1992 Ford Explorer is in the right front passenger area behind the right front kick panel
In a 1992 Ford Aerostar, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side. It is mounted on the firewall, near the brake pedal area. You may need to remove some panels or covers to access it properly. Always ensure the vehicle is off and the battery is disconnected before attempting to locate or work on the PCM.
Take the inside of the glove box out and look in and down to the RIGHT and you will see it. On that year, it is called a ECM. engine controll module.
It is located behind the ashtray, mounted to the floor hump between driver passenger side. It's the A/T control module.
yes it will.
on top of the right fenderwell next to the firewall
My 92 Silverado right front brake sticking why
The ECM (engine control module ) is located on the center of the firewall just above the motor. It's the thing that has a lot of wires going to it.
yes
Check right about where your left knee is, just under the dashboard. It should have a plastic cover over it that you pull forward. The fuse should be 20A and right up at the top in the center. At least that is where my '92 C2500 Silverado 2x4 has it. ;-)
There is no separate reverse module.
