My 92 Silverado right front brake sticking why
Brake calipers stick when they get old. You need to replace it and the other side While you're at it.
It could be caused by clogged up front brake hoses.
most likely a clog in the line or wheel cylinder or maybe a broke spring
check the brake light switch it might be sticking. located under the dash connected to the brake pedal
Check around brake pedal for something rubbing. If OK, I'd look into the master cylinder.
I would suspect your caliber is sticking due to moisture contamination of your brake system. This will cause rust to form in the caliber and cause it to stick. You need to replace both front calibers and replace the brake fluid in the entire brake system. Install DOT 3 brake fluid from an unopened container. Get all the old contaminated fluid out of the system. Bleed brakes in this order. RR > LR > RF > LF.
Block the front wheel to keep the truck from rolling. Lift the Silverado, and place a safety stand under it. Remove the wheel. The drum will pull off, it may take some work as they stick. The brake shoes have a pin through the middle, with a rotating clip and a spring. Remove the clip and spring and the shoes will come off to be replaced.
Try Changing the Brake Hose. They Rot On The Inside And Restrict The Flow Of Brake Fluid Back To The Master Cylinder. GOOD LUCK
it seizes thru lack of use... overhall it..
YOU HAVE TO STICK IT UP YOUR BUTT THEN DO YOUR MOM!!!!!!!!! What he said may have it's good points but the rear pads change very similar to the front pads just pay attention to one side at a time that way you will have the other side to go by.
You've either got a bad Brake hose or bad master cylinder. Both these things can cause a caliper to stick.
in space behind gear stick and in front of hand brake iss a small area (not cup holders) just lift up rubber in space behind gear stick and in front of hand brake iss a small area (not cup holders) just lift up rubber
