You may be able to get the answer at our forum. If you are looking for the reset to be able to get the key out of the ignition then it is right below the ignition switch on the steering column. The problem is you have to drill or cut a hole in the plastic to make it visible.
We have pictures at the forum to make it easier.

Chevrolet does not use inertia/reset switches.
Under the steering wheel column, about even with the dashboard. Recessed in little hollow area.
Try checking the floorboard to the left an above where the steering column passes through the floorboard. There's a reset button on top of the switch.
there is a small switch behind one of the switch blank off plates to the right of the steering column. It is a very small switch about 6" deep into the dash, hard to find easy to reset.
No reset switch only a relay under hood in the control center. 95% of the time the fuel pump is shot.
The 1985 Lincoln Town Car fuel pump reset switch can be found in the fuse box. The reset switch will be at the bottom of the third column.
there is a button underneath the steering column that needs to be held in for a couple of seconds.
Hi, You need to look on the steering column support to the left side of the dashboard or to the left speaker. The lamp can be reset by moving the switch up and then down. If the light stays on after you reset the switch, then there is a problem in the system. Good luck. Steve H.
AnswerHi, If your vehicle has a switch, it should be under the dash, on ther left side on the steering column support or to the left of the speaker. The lamp can be reset by moving the switch up then down. If the light remains on then check the system. Steve H. or DISCONECT the battery for 30 sec then reconect
Reset the whole thing and there should be a little red switch which says reset in the boot or on the steering wheel
I have a 95 Tracker as well and recently it turned 100,000 miles. At 100,001 the "check engine light" came on. A local mechanic did a diagnostic and it also didn't give any codes to help reset the light or alert me of a problem. I asked him about the reset "switch" under the dash and he said he never heard of that. I investigated on my own when I got home, because the light being on was driving me crazy, and there actually is a small switch that reset the light. I removed the small plastic panel under the steering column and found it between the drivers side speaker and the steering column. It is really small. It is a black plastic switch with a metal face plate. You really have to look for it because it's settled in with the wire harness' under the dash. I flipped the switch and the light went out. Again be patient when looking for the switch. It's there you just have to look close to the dash and next to the steering column. I tried removing the battery cables because I read that that would reset the light but had no luck doing it no matter how long I left them off.
seats won't move- steering column won't move...battery replaced. need to reset easy access convenience package
