Beds of sea water are made and allowed to evaporate until all the water is gone and the salt is left. It is then cut into blocks and sold as sea salt. Nothing is added to it and sea salt can come in different colors depending on the area where the salt is located. It can be white, red, gray, black, and other shades. No other things are added to the sea salt so it is a natural product. It does come in fine grain to small crystals to be used in a sea salt grinder at the table.
