open the hood, look down between the rad. and the engine. There it is.
Drain plug for what?
if the starter is good , then its possible. do you know how to do it?
The starter solenoid is on the left side fenderwell next to the battery.
Mercury Topaz was created in 1983.
The starter on a 1994 Mercury Topaz is located on the lower side of the engine, near the transmission. It is typically mounted to the engine block, close to the flywheel. To access it, you may need to raise the vehicle and remove any components obstructing your view, such as the splash shield or exhaust components.
Just look under the front of the car, just behind the rad. And there it is, if it is a 4cyl of course?
Just take the covers off the steering column, switch is there.
THE FUEL FILTER IS UNDER THE HOOD ON THE WHEEL WELL, LEFT OF THE ALTERNATOR.
Disconnect the battery. The vehicle will probably have to be raised to reach the starter. The starter has two or three bolts holding it in, and wiring attached. Remove the wires remembering where to put them back. Remove the bolts and pull starter out.
To wire the starter solenoid on a 1993 Mercury Topaz, connect the battery positive terminal to one terminal of the solenoid. The other terminal should connect to the starter motor. The solenoid also has a smaller terminal for the ignition switch wire, which activates the solenoid when the key is turned. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent electrical issues.
Not quite sure what you are asking, but if you are changing the solenoid, then disconnect the battery first.
The starter is mounted on the passenger side of the transmission. It has one wire connected to it (with a small bolt) and there are two bolts holding the starter in.
