Starter solenoid hides in behind Master Fuse housing at the back of the Battery case. On my bike the fuse housing was changed somewhat after market so I am not sure how hard it will be to get to yours.
The solenoid is built on the starter.
a soleniod is just one item in a schematic its like a big relay if it needs to be replace its like 8 bucks, if you want the schematic for the whole starter system its basically battery+ to soleniod to starter to battery-
on top of the starter
You should check the soleniod by the battery mounted on the fender if that is not the problem the it is probably the soleniod on the starter. Had the same problem on mine until i tap the soleniod on the starter.
If you mean the starter solenoid, it's on the starter.

It's on the starter, the starter is behind the engine above and to the left of your oil filter.

your starter soleniod may be stuckif you are getting dashboard lights and the starter won't turn overhit the soleniod with a hammerif your car turns over replace the soleniod
Follow your positive cable(usually red) from your battery to your soleniod. From there it should run into the starter. The starter on a v6 is under the intake manifold.
